Faculty Position Available for Application
The Department of Psychology at National Cheng Kung University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position (assistant professor or above). The area for this recruitment is Health Psychology (domestic Clinical/Counseling license required, and expected course support to Social Psychology, Personality Psychology, and Quantitative Psychology is highly preferred). The core selection criterion is distinction in research and teaching. The processes of recruitment will be embarked under the formulated university employment procedure. Salary is commensurate with rank and experience, and is determined according to a government regulated scale.
The accepted applicant of the position is expected to dedicate research and fulfill administrative and teaching duty. The Department emphasizes faculty’s capacity of teaching broadened psychological knowledge and cultivating outstanding research skills for the students of undergraduate, master, and Ph.D. degrees. Research and teaching facilities are adequately supported for faculty’s development by the Department and University.
Application documents, including identification of research field, curriculum vitae, statements of teaching and research interests, diplomas and transcripts (officially stamped by the stationed abroad Taiwan Overseas Embassy and Missions for Taiwanese applicants who graduate outside Taiwan), a copy of three peer-reviewed papers over the past five years, and three letters of recommendation, shall be mailed to:
