[Course Announcement] 113-1 "Career Exploration and Experiential Learning in Behavioral Sciences"

Course Title: Career Exploration and Experiential Learning in Behavioral Sciences (3 Credits)
Offering Department: Department of Psychology (Undergraduate / Graduate) and Graduate Institute of Education
Number of Students: 50-55 (Students in Year 3 and above, including graduate students)

Course Description:
This course is an elective for students in the field of behavioral sciences, targeting those in their third year and above (including graduate students) who have a strong interest in workplace experiences. In addition to the professional knowledge of their own field, this course guides students to further understand themselves, recognize workplace dynamics, develop workplace skills, and experience job-seeking techniques. By the end of the course, students will be empowered to actively seek internship opportunities (e.g., 104 Career College Internship Section: https://college104.pse.is/5v79zk, where those with completion certificates are given priority in interviews; this certificate is currently recognized in the industry), bridging academic and career paths and assisting students in planning their future career development.
Course Registration Instructions:
Interested students should fill out the Google Form (https://forms.gle/FCQ3vU2bo31eJpf26) before September 1 (Wednesday) 23:59. Please ensure you provide a valid email address, as this will be used to notify you of the selected and waitlisted candidates.
The list of selected and waitlisted students will be emailed on September 5 (Thursday) morning. If selected students confirm they are unable to take the course, they must inform the teaching assistant by email to cancel their registration by September 9 (Monday) at 12:00 PM.
Selected students must participate in the course introduction and registration confirmation on September 13 (Friday) (the session will only cover course details and confirmation of enrollment). If there are no significant reasons for missing the first week's course introduction, their registration will be canceled. Waitlisted students and those still interested in adding the course are welcome to attend the introduction on September 13 (Friday) to learn about the course and vie for a spot. After confirming the final list of enrolled students, it will be submitted for school approval.
Classes will officially start in the second week (September 20, Friday) and will not be open for auditing.
