Important Reminders for the Graduate Degree Examination in the First Semester of the 113th Academic Year (Please refer to the attached document for details)

Degree Examination Application URL: https://reurl.cc/rvlEYk. The application period opens from September 23, 113, at 09:00 until January 20, 114, at 23:59:59. Applications submitted after the deadline can still be reviewed but must be completed before the examination takes place.

Date of Degree Examination: The examination will be held from the start of the semester (September 9, 113) until the deadline for grade submission (January 31, 114), with grades submitted to the Registration Division.

Graduate students applying for the degree examination should carefully read the Degree Examination webpage: https://reurl.cc/1bQOmV. This page includes procedures for application changes and special circumstances for online oral examinations.

Supervising Professors: According to Article 10 of the Graduate Student Regulations, the supervising professor must be a faculty member of this university. Their qualifications and appointment must comply with departmental regulations and be approved by the department chair. Professors who are spouses, relatives within the third degree of consanguinity or affinity, or who have previously had such relationships, may not serve as supervising professors.

Application Requirements: In accordance with Article 4, Item 2, Sub-item 1 of the Graduate Degree Examination Regulations, applications must include a thesis, an abstract, and a report from the online thesis comparison system in the required format. After the supervising professor confirms that the thesis topic and content align with the professional field of the respective academic unit and signs in agreement, it should be submitted to the academic unit. Please do not substitute the professor's signature with a stamp.

Examination Committee Attendance: According to Article 13 of the Graduate Degree Examination Regulations, committee members must attend the examination in person and may not delegate their attendance to others. At least two-thirds of the committee members must be present for the examination to proceed. A master's degree examination committee must have at least three members present, while a doctoral degree examination committee must have at least five members present, with over one-third of the attending members being from outside the university (or college) for the examination to take place.
