113th Academic Year First Semester Teaching Assistant Training (Registration until August 26)

Please inform all teaching assistants in your department to actively register and participate.

This training is for those who will be teaching assistants or have been TAs but have not participated in the training before. There will only be one session this semester.

The Center for Teaching Development of the Academic Affairs Office will hold the "113th Academic Year First Semester Teaching Assistant Training" on September 6 (Friday). Please encourage all teaching assistants to register and participate.

Event Information:

  1. Date and Time: September 6 (Friday) from 8:10 AM to 5:10 PM (Registration closes on August 26 (Monday) for meal counting purposes).
  2. Location: Da Ge Zhi Hall, Cheng Kung Campus (B1 of the Information and Physics Experiment Building).
  3. Registration Method: Online registration is required. Please visit: Registration Link. After registration, the system will automatically send a confirmation email. To avoid missing the email, it is recommended to use your school email (studentID@gs.ncku.edu.tw) for registration.

Notes:

  1. Eligible Participants: Teaching assistants for the 113th Academic Year First Semester and teaching assistants recommended by their departments for graduate scholarships (as per the "Implementation Guidelines for Teaching Assistant Training").
  2. Certificate Issuance: Full attendance of all sessions is required to confirm at least 8 hours of participation, after which an electronic certificate will be issued.
  3. Sign-in Procedure: Participants must sign in both morning and afternoon. Late arrivals more than 15 minutes after the start of each session or leaving early for more than 15 minutes will not receive certification (no make-up sign-in will be accepted).
    • This semester, there will only be one session, and no leave of absence will be accepted. Those unable to attend the full session should participate in next semester’s training.
    • Students who have already obtained a certificate should consult their department to see if they need to attend this semester’s training.
    • Students expected to serve as teaching assistants this semester are encouraged to complete the training for certification.
    • This event will be held in person; please bring your student ID for sign-in.
