Graduate General Education Requirement (for Students Admitted from AY 2022 Onward)
According to the 1st University Curriculum Committee Meeting of Academic Year 110, “PhD and Master’s students admitted from Academic Year 111 onward must complete Graduate General Education before graduation, including at least 6 hours of Academic Ethics, and at least 1 hour each in English & Chinese writing competence and communication & presentation skills.”
Please note: this requirement applies to students admitted from Academic Year 111 onward.
I. Academic Ethics: at least 6 hours

Participation and certification:
Through NCKU’s The Office of Academic Integrity (OAI), all NCKU faculty, staff, and students may use NCKU’s online academic ethics courses free of charge and apply to have the academic ethics education hours recognized (as required by the Ministry of Science and Technology). -
After completing the course and obtaining the certificate, please upload/register the certificate on NCKU’s “Academic Ethics Education Hours Registration Platform” for record.

For graduation review, please submit proof of at least 6 hours of Academic Ethics education to the departmental office for verification.
II. English & Chinese writing competence: at least 1 hour
This requirement is already included in [Seminar in Psychology]. No additional course enrollment is required.
During the course, participate in an English lecture and submit an English reflection.
III. Communication & presentation skills: at least 1 hour
This requirement is already included in [Teaching Practicum (I) and (II)].
