In 2007, the Department of Psychology was approved by the Ministry of Education and began recruiting students into its undergraduate program in 2008.

The Department of Psychology is fundamentally and prospectively characterized by its interdisciplinary education and research, encompassing the various disciplines of sociology, the humanities, medicine, and engineering.
