台灣老了，我們準備好了嗎？
有些銀髮族，在生活上需要協助，是誰要負責呢？政府和企業可否順利接軌家族照顧的功能，讓超高齡化社會有出路呢？我們如何把家庭照顧經過商業化與法律化的歷程，讓這個社會分擔呢？

除此之外，在職場闖蕩多年，越來越多人想著「人生第二春」。大家活在世上的時間，足夠在退休之後，活出第二個人生。六十五歲退休、換工作變得越來越頻繁，他們會如何保持著動力，如何成就多元的勞動參與呢？而職場上，因為年齡而歧視老年工作者的問題，是否能解決呢？

「面對高齡社會的多元挑戰：從家庭照顧到職場參與的探討與對談」

演講大綱：
在這次為時三小時的演講中，主辦單位特別邀請了兩位學界專家，針對高齡社會所面臨的複雜挑戰進行深入的探討。除了各自發表見解之外，兩位講者將在對談環節中對談，激盪彼此想法。這次活動不僅是一場知識的傳遞，更是一個觀點與理念碰撞的舞台，兩位專家的深入對話將為聽眾提供豐富而深刻的洞察。
首先，葉光輝教授將在第一小時以「高齡社會家庭照顧的商業化與法律化」為主題，分享他對於台灣高齡照顧的社會文化背景、家庭與政府在高齡者照顧上的責任分擔，以及台灣與其他國家在高齡照顧政策與文化方面的比較分析。

在第二小時，陸洛教授將以「高齡社會的挑戰─老年歧視、退休規劃、高齡就業、人生第二曲線」為主題，探討「早退」文化和退休人口快速增加對社會的影響，包括老化與工作的相互作用、高齡者保持生產力的動機與勞動參與的多元性、職場中對老年人的態度和年齡歧視問題、以及企業因應高齡就業者的「工作再設計」挑戰。
最後一小時的對談環節，將邀請兩位講者就老化議題的各個方面進行深入的討論，並開放給聽眾提問，以共同探討和內容如下：尋找應對高齡社會挑戰的策略和解決方案。
透過葉光輝教授和陸洛教授的專業知識和見解，本次活動將為參與者提供一個多角度解析高齡化問題的機會，並深入理解和反思這一社會現象對家庭和工作的影響。

Title: Addressing the Multifaceted Challenges of an Aged Society: A Discussion and Dialogue from Family Care to labor Participation of older people
Speakers:

Professor Lu, Luo (Department and Graduate Institute of Business Administration, National Taiwan University)
In this three-hour lecture, the organizers have specially invited two academic experts to delve into the complex challenges faced by an aged society. In addition to presenting their individual viewpoints, the speakers will engage in a dialogue during the discussion session, sparking a lively exchange of ideas. This event is not only a transmission of knowledge but also a platform for the collision of perspectives. The in-depth conversations between these two experts will provide the audience with rich and profound insights.
Firstly, Professor Yeh will focus on "The Commercialization and Legalization of Family Care in an Aged Society" in the first hour. He will share his in-depth views on the socio-cultural background of elderly care in Taiwan, the shared responsibilities of families and government in elderly care, and a comparative analysis of elderly care policies and cultures between Taiwan and other countries.
In the second hour, Professor Lu will explore "The Challenges of an Aged Society – Age Discrimination, Retirement Planning, Labor Participation of Older People, and the Second Curve of Life" as a topic. She will discuss the impact of early retirement and the rapidly increasing retired population on society. This includes the interplay between aging and work, the motivation of older people to remain productive and the diversity in labor participation, attitudes towards older people in the workplace, age discrimination and ostracism, as well as the challenges of 'job redesign' for businesses to accommodate older employees.
The last hour will feature a dialogue session where both speakers will engage in an in-depth discussion on various aspects of aging issues. This session will also be open for questions from the audience, aiming to explore solutions to the challenges of an aged society.
Through the professional knowledge and insights of Professor Yeh and Professor Lu, this event will offer participants an opportunity to analyze the issue of aging from different perspectives, and to deepen the understanding of the impact of this social phenomenon on individuals, families, organizations, and societies.and societies.
