摘要：
In this talk I will first present a sample of plots collected from local news media and government documents via Google searches. These plots share similar visualization problemscommonly found in academic publications. I will then review some principles of graphing data and graphical perception before showing you a series of plots, a pair at a time, for you to decide which is better (and why). My conclusion is that statistical graphics are complex stimuli whose investigation calls for psychologists of all stripes.
